Create your shareable profile and link

Signing up for TeachOn is free and only takes a few seconds. Once you have created your personalized teaching profile, you’ll need to create your unique profile link, for example teachon.org/yourname.

Step 2

Connect your bank account

Connect your Bank account using Stripe and start accepting payments within seconds. Already have a Stripe account? No worries. You can connect your existing account. No monthly fees or minimums either.

Step 3

Collect payments using QR codes

Step 4

Pay out your earnings to your own bank account

Sit back, relax and watch your earnings come into your account. When you’re ready, you can pay out your earnings to your bank account with a single click. Filling out lengthy and time-consuming forms are a thing of the past.

We believe in fair and transparent pricing.

TeachOn collects a flat fee of 4.9% on every payment. This includes all the payment and payout fees, with the majority of the collected fee going towards Stripe. There are no hidden fees with TeachOn.

Is TeachOn available for non-US residents?

TeachOn is only available for teachers with a US bank account and social security number.

What information do I need to sign up?

Please make sure you have the following ready when signing up:

Your mobile phone
Your bank account details
Your ID card
Your Social Security number (US residents)

This data is securely stored on Stripe. We do not store it in our database.

Do I need a business or company to get verified?

Not at all. Any independent freelancers can signup and start accepting payments within minutes.

How secure is your payment process?

We have partnered up with Stripe in order to provide you the most secure payment process. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Learn more about the security of Stripe here.

TeachOn never holds the payment, nor does the payment pass through our servers. When a payment is made, it is transferred directly from the payer to the teacher’s Stripe connect account.

How long does it take to receive a payment?

Receiving payments into your Stripe account happens immediately after the payment has been made. Paying out funds from your Stripe account to your bank account depends on whether it’s your first time. The first payout for every new Stripe connected account typically takes 7 days, however subsequent payouts are usually faster.
